Description
There are 4 categories of temporary worker (charity worker, religious worker, creative and sporting worker)
This visa is for applicants who want to come to the UK to do unpaid voluntary work for a charity
This visa is for applicants who want to come to the UK to do religious work in a religious order.
This visa is for applicants who have been offered work as a sports person or creative worker such as an actor, dancer, musician or film crew member
Requirements
- you want to do unpaid voluntary work for a charity
- a certificate of sponsorship reference number
- You must also have £945 in savings for at least 90 days or a sponsor that is A rated and who has stated on your certificate of sponsorship that you won’t claim benefits during your stay.
- Religious Worker
- you want to do religious work e.g. preaching, or working in a religious order
- a certificate of sponsorship reference number
- You must also have £945 in savings for at least 90 days or a sponsor that is A rated and who has stated on your certificate of sponsorship that you won’t claim benefits during your stay.
- Sports Person
- You need to make a unique contribution to the UK labour market, e.g. you’re internationally renowned or are required for continuity
- a certificate of sponsorship reference number
- be paid the minimum salary as set by Equity, PACT or BECTU (except for models or circuses)
- You must also have £945 in savings for at least 90 days or a sponsor that is A rated and who has stated on your certificate of sponsorship that you won’t claim benefits during your stay.
- Creative Worker
- You need to make a significant contribution to your sport at the highest level in the UK to be eligible for this visa.
